Do I need to send food out with my dog?
No we do not treat dogs, however we will give younger dogs and puppies lunch as this is important for growth. Ask us for more information.
Do I need to give you a leash?
No, we have plenty.
Will my dog get cold?
The program is based on constant movement, we advise all short hair dog owners on the cold days to supply a jacket. Or if you think your dog is sensitive to temperature.
Do dogs ever run away?
Pack mentality is a big thing with dogs.
Do the dogs all get along?
We do a meet and greet with all potential clients. We don't take pit bulls or other fighting breeds.
Does my dog come home clean?
Yes we bathe all dogs that need to be cleaned.
Do I have to pay up front for your service?
We bill you one month behind and payable upon receipt.
How late can I book day camp?
Call us or text prior to 8 AM the day you need to use Run! and we will be there to collect your dog.
Are there cars nearby?
No, it is three miles of gravel to our farm. On top of that Run! is on a private road, the only reason to be on that road is to come to us. So we never see anybody!
Does my dog need to wear a collar with ID and contact information?
Yes and a collar that is well fitting. They should also be wearing ID tags.
Does my dog have to be neutered/spayed?
We accept puppies that are due to be fixed. Full grown dogs that have not been neutered/spayed we do not allow in the group. Over thirteen years we have seen every time we have tried it creates bad energy.
Do you have vaccine requirements?
Yes, you can find out more information on the requirements on out application form on the Programs page.
What time is pick up and what time is drop off?
7:30 AM to 9:30 AM pick-up, and then 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM drop-off.
What do I pack for my dogs stay with you?
Feel free to pack a bed, toy, favorite animal movie. All food should be in a sealable plastic container with your pets name on.
Where will my dog sleep?
In our Bunkhouse that is a building converted to a living room (see pictures on our Facebook page under Facilities) We offer and prefer to crate each dog at night. If a dog has issues with a crate they can sleep on a couch, bed or rug in the Bunkhouse.
Can you administer medication?
Yes, with our Bunkhouse program only offering 10 places we can cater for any medical issues.
How many dogs can stay with you?
Just 10. This is based on "how and where would we like our own dogs to stay".
Is the bunkhouse heated?
Yes we keep it at a comfortable 65 degrees.
What does my dog do all day?
They have lot of outside time with us on a hike in the morning and then they have a 3 acre pasture to play in with the other bunkhouse clients.
Do you pick up and drop off on weekends?
No. Due to the driving for day camp in the week we do not offer pick up and drop off at weekends. You can make an appointment to collect your pal prior to 10 AM on either day on a weekend.
What if my dog does not like to sleep in a crate?
They can sleep on the couch, normal dog bed or a rug.
How many times a day will my dog eat?
We feed the normal twice a day. If special feeding is needed we can discuss this on a client by client basis.
How much food should I pack and how should it be packed?
Pack the normal meals your dog gets for how many times a day they are fed. All food should be in a sealable plastic container with your pal's name on it.
